Hello Everyone,
One of the first official duties of
our new Board of Trustees at our first
Board meeting last week, was to establish the Synagogue's
standing
committees.
As many of you may have heard me mention
several times, our Synagogue does
not run by itself and it does not have a paid administrative
staff. It
needs every member's help through involvement on committees.
Joining a
committee doesn't mean a major obligation. There are
many ways you can help
from the smallest gift of your time, to helping run
an entire event or
program. Also, we welcome volunteers to help staff our
facility (and
welcome guests), and volunteers to help run a Summer
Lay Shabbat Service.
Thank you to the following people who
have already volunteered to Chair and
participate on the sign-up lists at the Synagogue. Since
everyone cannot
make it to the Synagogue to sign up, here's your chance.
Please email the
chairperson of the committee(s) you are interested in,
to sign up (just
click on their email address below their name). Committee
meetings are
already being scheduled...don't wait! Thank you in advance
for your
support.
